Setouchi Santoshi Wide Area Tourism Promotion Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) comprises three cities (Kurashiki City, Naruto City, and Kotohira Town) with unique tourism resources in the Eastern Seto area linked with the Seto-Chuo Expressway, Takamatsu Expressway, and Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway.
The purpose of the Council is to set up highly attractive wide-area tour routes and implement joint wide-area tourism attraction projects targeting tourists from home and abroad to attract tourists to the area and promote mutual tourism and urban development among the Council members.
The date of establishment: April 1, 2003 (Heisei 15).
